Delete your EveryUnitKnown account

Effective date: October 4, 2026

This page explains how to delete an account of the EveryUnitKnown inventory service and the EveryUnitKnown mobile app for Android, what is deleted with it, and what is kept.

1. How to delete your account

You do not need the mobile app to delete your account. Either way below deletes the same account, and the deletion takes effect at once.

  • On the web: sign in, open Settings, choose the Account tab, and press Delete account.
  • In the Android app: open the menu, tap your account at the top to open Cloud sync, and press Delete account.

Both ask for your password, or for a typed confirmation phrase if you sign in with Google, and show what happens to each of your workspaces before you confirm. You can sign in here.

If you cannot sign in, write to support [at] everyunitknown.com from the email address of the account and ask for it to be deleted. We may ask for information reasonably needed to verify that the account is yours.

2. Before you delete

  • If you are the only administrator of a workspace that has other members, the account cannot be deleted yet. Make another member an administrator, or delete the workspace, in the workspace settings on the web.
  • If a payment for a paid plan is still being confirmed, the account cannot be deleted until the payment completes.
  • A paid subscription of a workspace that is deleted with your account is cancelled immediately. The rest of the period already paid for is not refunded.
  • Deletion cannot be undone. Export anything you want to keep first.

3. What is deleted

  • Your account data: email address, name, password, the link to your Google account, and every signed-in session on the web and on your devices.
  • Every workspace where you are the only member, with all of its inventory records, documents, photos, and files.
  • In a workspace you share with other people: your membership, your notification settings, and the invitations you sent.

Data the mobile app holds on your phone is treated by whose it is. Data of a workspace deleted with your account stays on the phone with sync off, until you delete it or the app. Data of a workspace that other members keep is removed from the phone.

4. What is kept

  • Records you created in a workspace that other members keep stay in that workspace, shown as created by a deleted user. Your name and email address are removed from them.
  • The reason for leaving and the note, if you chose to give them when deleting.
  • Billing and payment records, kept by us and by the payment provider for as long as tax and accounting law requires.
  • Security and operational logs and backups, which expire through normal rotation.

The retention periods are described in the Privacy Policy.
